The Princess Theatre Club (PTC)
has been flourishing since 1986,
its main aim being to support the Princess Theatre. We present two major productions each year, in spring and autumn.
<<< Here are three of our members (from left), Jane Bean, Noel Mellish and Sandra Cartwright, in rehearsal for 'There Goes the Bride, spring 2008.
Off-stage, we act as stewards during films and theatre performances, we help the regular staff to sell programmes and ice creams. We are also on hand to assist during Theatre Open Days and on any other occasion as needed. Social events attract both members and other friends, and we produce a regular (every two months) newsletter, some items from which you will find on this website.
Members of the PTC come from all walks of life and all ages. Some are fully Active (i.e. involved in our stage productions) while others prefer to be Associate (friends and supporters). We are always happy to welcome new friends into our ranks. Please Contact us if you would like further information:

We stage two major plays each year, in May and November, fitting in with the theatre's busy schedule of summer shows, musical extravaganzas, a very popular annual pantomime and a season of films. For our spring offering we have recently been choosing a farce or comedy, saving the late autumn for darker dramas. See our Past Productions section for a full list.
